Benjamin Toubol

Ph.D. Candidate, Université Laval

Benjamin Toubol is a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at Université Laval, Québec. His work focus on hybrid governance and network of legitimate violence among non-state armed groups. His research, supported by fieldwork in Iraqi Kurdistan, explores the dynamics of violence and security governance through a lense of distribution regional networks. He has served as a faculty lecturer and research assistant, contributing to projects on conflict analysis and arms trade. Additionally, he has worked as a consultant for Journalists for Human Rights, providing risk assessments for post-conflict environments.
